Our Furniture Refinishing Process
1) Consultation and estimate
We review your goals, the piece’s construction and condition, and your timeline. You receive a clear scope and written estimate.
2) Prep and protection
We protect surrounding areas, document hardware, and prepare the surface carefully. Sound prep sets the stage for a beautiful, durable finish.
3) Priming
We choose a bonding and, when needed, stain-blocking primer that suits the substrate and the final finish.
4) Finish coats
We apply controlled coats for a smooth, even surface. Enamel or lacquer is specified based on use, desired sheen, and care expectations.
5) Curing, reassembly, and hardware
After proper cure time, we reassemble, align, and install existing or new hardware.
6) Care and handoff
We walk the piece with you and share simple care guidelines so it stays beautiful for years.
Timeline and investment vary by piece, existing finish, and the selected system. We will outline everything up front.
